Update #2- From Bad to Worse
General
Some of you know that I’ve been doing Emergency Story Commissions to help out my mom. Well, this weekend has both destroyed and strengthened my resolve to help my mom. So, here’s the update and the story so far.
On Friday my mom heard back from the insurance company about the claim on fixing our house. And from what I was told about the conversation, the insurance won’t cover the damage at all. This left my mom panicked and crying that Friday, so I chose to take the weekend off from my writing to give me time to think about how best to help her. I was doing these emergency story commissions as a way to cover any of the repair process that wasn’t going to be covered by the insurance company. Now knowing that we will have to pay the entire cost ourselves has me and my family stressed beyond all measure. We simply don’t have the finances we need to pay bills, utilities, living expenses AND this monumental repair cost. I’m also worried about the black mold continuing to grow and making it hard for my mother to breathe with her COPD. This doesn’t seem to be happening so far, but it’s growing concern of mine the longer the damage exists.
This has led me to my decision of keeping these emergency story commissions open for the foreseeable future. Though the term ‘emergency’ might be a bit misleading at that point. Any money I make from these story commissions will be used to either fill a savings account that I will keep safe to stockpile it for repairing the house that I live in with my mom and twin brother. Both my brother and I have keratoconus and cannot legally drive and are unemployed. My twin brother is the main caretaker and handles a majority of the household chores while I spend most of my time writing and making what money I can with these story commissions. Writing story commissions is the only way I know how to make any money at all that I can then use to take some of the financial burden off my mother, who doesn't work herself and uses the alimony she gets from my stepdad to support herself and me and my brother. All of that to say that I’m very reliant on these story commissions to help me and my family get by and hopefully one day soon fix the damage to my mom’s house.
If you want one of these emergency story commissions, please note me here on FA or on Telegram: @Zylen_Andel, with the following info. Each story comm is $50 (USD) with you being able to buy as many as you can afford.
EMERGENCY STORY COMMS
~~LENGTH: Up to 3,000 words (6 pages)
~~CHARACTERS: Up to 3 (ref pics are preferred but not necessary)(rule 34 is okay)(my characters are free to use as well)
~~KINKS: NO scat, vomit, or cub stuff, everything else is open to asking me about.
If you find yourself wanting to help, but don’t want to donate or get a story comm, you can simply boost this journal. That will help too. You can also toss me some shinies here on FA, every little bit helps.
To those that have donated and bought story comms already, I cannot thank you enough for the support that you’ve already shown me and my family. It blew my mom away when I first told her that I was getting so much help from you guys. So, thank you for helping me already.
And to those that have bought story commissions, I am still working on them. The stress of this situation and the anxiety I’m feeling from it are just a lot to work through at the moment. I’ll be picking up work on the owed story commissions tomorrow with this current queue who are listed in particular order:
Gunsword2003- 1 story comm
Inscrutable- 2 story comms
HardcoreAcolyte- 1 story comm
Taiko- 2 story comms
Croup- 1 story comm
Snallel- 1 story comm
If you have sent me money and wanted a story comm and don’t see you’re name here, please get in touch with me before this weekend, otherwise I’ll consider your money a donation. You can reach me through FA notes or Telegram.
Also, for those that want to read up on the whole saga that’s been going on, I’ll be linking all the journals I’ve made about this crisis of mine in order below.

I'll be providing another update once I'm more certain of a more definite cost for the repairs. Until then, I'm just asking for as much as I can get from anyone who's willing to help.
