General
The fourth chapter of The Midnight Chaptel is live today and if you want to read it and Chapters 2 and 3, please considering subscribing to my Sub Sites: PATREON & SUBSCRIBESTAR.
This chapter comes in strong with the deepening mystery and smoldering tensions rising like stormy tides. So, if anyone subscribes to my sites, I hope you all enjoy this chapter and come back for Chapter 5 which will be posted next Wednesday.

Beneath the vaulted hush of Thornebrook’s chapel, blood meets fire in a kiss of resurrection: Father Morelli lies shattered, broken open at the base of a pillar, until Embrys - fevered, burning, desperate - offers him life torn from his own flaming core. But such mercy comes at a cost, and no stolen breath can hold back the tide. For below, in the drowned hollows of the sea, Caedros dives into a graveyard of memory and madness - where kin have become horrors, and song is a chain that slips between the ribs.
He returns gasping with revelation, golden blood trailing like an omen… only to be cast in chains by the same town he came to save. Their grief is a mob; their hope, a blade dulled by vengeance.
While fists fly and rage drowns reason, the real monsters wait with patient hunger in the abyss - twisting captives into moaning, worshipful mockeries, flesh shaped by pleasure and pain alike. The drowned whisper come home, their song seeping through the cracks of every soul, and those who listen… begin to change.
Now, fire and faith take wing together: Morelli and Embrys, bound by guilt, need, and something far more dangerous, rise to challenge the storm. But Thornebrook is already slick with sin, and beneath the waves, something ancient stretches... and sings:
"Come deeper. Come closer. Come drown."
