Proofreading

Lots of stories go on this site and most of them are pretty nice. Some are awesome. Most are very good. But I see one typo sometimes and it breaks immersion for me.
I don't know if this is just selfish of me but I think plenty of those stories could use at least one proofreader before being put on here. Just to polish it up and whatnot. I kinda wanna do that. Not for any reward or anything but I just don't want that to happen to me or anyone else. I'm barely a writer, I know, I hope to get... something out soon but for now if anyone wants me to just make sure you don't have a crick in your story's neck... I'm here.
gosh why is it so hard to even make a journal and here I am wanting to do stories like fuck me aaa

especially with [REDACTED]s whomstn't can't get there "they're"s right like their still in middle shcooelle.
When texting with people, I have no problem with sloppy and bad grammar, or misspellings; as people generally just type out what's on their mind and move on.
But with stories, such things can really take me out of the story, as it can often force you to stop and decipher what the "writer" was saying, rather than what the characters are doing.
I know a lot of people are simply writing for fun and aren't too worried about a mistake here or there and that's okay. The reader usually doesn't become immersed in such stories and are simply enjoying it for what it is. When it's someone being paid to write a commission, however, I often wonder if they even take the time to give the story a second reading before posting it up.
It's a shame because there are a lot of really creative ideas I see in stories, but the execution of them simply sucks all of the enjoyment out of them.
