This journal is meant to address the growing problem of those writers participating in the Thursday Prompt and then NOT reading the stories of the other participants.
True - reading is not a requirement. We have always left life to rule the day, figuring courtesy would rule participation; but it would seem this only applies to a few of our writers.
Granted, there are some things I will not read just from personal choice, and I expect this will be the case for all of us.
BUT (there is always a 'but')
If you want to be read, you must read. This is what the TP is all about. This is also why that expectation is posted with EVERY prompt.
The practice of writing is a must if you are going to better yourself as a writer. Being read is the goal of most, if not all, writers.
If you are going to participate in the Thursday Prompt (and I hope you do), then please participate with the courtesy paid to your fellow participants.
