M looks at a tool for drawing circles of various sizes while A is drawing.
M: I wonder how much area is left, after you punch out all of the circles? It starts at about 48 square inches since it's...what, 6 by 8? And then you lose each circle's area...what's left?
A: Three.
M: Three square inches?
A: Yes. I'm sticking with that.
M: I'll find out tomorrow while you're at work. And if you're right, I'll give you a reward!
A: What?
M begins making what he hopes are seductive and suggestive faces, ending with a bit of tongue showing. (Like this but worse.)
A: A tongue bath? Cool!
(I did find out the answer, I might toss it out as a bonus problem next semester.)
