Well shoot. Guess these monthly ideas aren't my thing.

Hey y'all. Wanted to put out a quick announcement about the Monthly Manga thingy I was doing this year. You might notice I didn't post anything in April or May for this theme, and I don't think I will for any other month this year.
Long story short, I sort of feel like I limited myself with trying to stick to the whole manga cover format. The idea of this thing was to get myself to draw something every month, but ironically I think the limitation on myself led me to wanna do these less. I kinda wanna just see where my mind takes me when it comes to art, even if it takes me a while to get some art out there.
I did have fun with the covers I did end up making, and I do honestly think I've improved over the few months I did try it. I just don't think these monthly themes are my thing. Hope y'all understand and here's to more varied art in the future. ^^

It's understandable. It's kind of like burning yourself out if you stick to one thing. Maybe not now, but eventually, you might burn yourself out. Do what you feel like.
