So ive discovered something interesting

My drawing productivity is far from good. But what ive noticed is that when someone joins me in drawing, it becomes much easier. It can be something as simple as me and the other person drawing our own stuff in a voice call and we can see each others drawings. Doing it alone is pretty bad. I even dread drawing sometimes, especially when im tired. My motivation is non-existent. But when i draw with someone else, its as if, i am given motivation, or i just dont need it anymore. I was wondering - have you experienced anything like that? Do you know why that happens?
For me, the lack of drawing productivity I can only presume is because I'm just overwhelmed with life and work as it is. So finding the energy to do things like drawing is a bit much for me at times when I just want to turn my brain off and escape reality with something that has a much lower barrier of entry like games or movies.
When I multi-stream, it's even better. Performance anxiety is eased because I know my audience can be watching my fellow artist while I look up references (or compulsively erase and redraw the same line over and over). It also becomes more of a shared social activity - in the same way that it's easier to exercise when done with others. You draw longer than you normally would because it extends the time you get to spend among friends.
Might be a slight bit of competitive nature coming out, or just enjoying that someone else is there taking part in an activity you like with you.
