Losin' touch with myself

Well, some of you probably already know that I haven't really been, well, Rhen lately, I've drifted off and mostly been the schnazzily dressed fox I am on SL, but even that's sort of waning. Not sure what it's all been about, but I just ain't really felt like being myself in this last year, if not more than that. Kinda wonderin' how many of you all end up that way, 'cause I don't wanna disappoint all you watchers out there if there ain't much more Rhennessa art passin' through my pages.
Anyhoo, hope yer all doin' well, I ain't dead!

Eventually I come back.
I live by the motto, "I don't make mottos, I just do what I feel like doing."
I'm kinda worried that I've negatively associated myself with playing Rhen since Wyld's up and fuck you to the fandom, that hurt a bit, and folks are always bugging the shit outta me asking how Wyld's doing, etc =/
x X;.. durn fumble fingers!
I do agree what Wyld did was totally the wrong way to leave the fandom with a bunch of people hanging.
Also, I kind of miss seeing you as Rhen, but what you do is up to you. However these people who ask you for more art when you're as Rhen are doing it simply because big busty females are obviously popular, but these people also don't respect the player behind the character by bugging them like this.
To tell the truth, when I found Macrophile, this website and the BFFunnies, I did kind of fantasize about Rhen such as daydreaming her suddenly showing up in this world walking around like she's lost. Once I found out the person behind Rhen was a guy, that stopped.
The BF Funnies was definitely a measure to popularity. It still gets me that folks say I'm popular. I'm not, Rhen in the comic is =P I ain't really all that involved in the macro community anymore, like a lot of the little sects of the fandom I jump into, they all sorta degrade a while after that, I'm often in after their peak. Macro's still fun, but there's just too much absurdity in it these days for my liking =/
I'd say I certainly got a bit more interest when I was a dragon than, say, a gryphon. I think more people are into herm dragons than male birdcats. But a number of people are still interested, and after a few years I'd have to say.. the quality of the attention is better too. That is, I'm not getting as much unwanted attention.
I don't think I'm coherently expressing what I'm trying to say here, I hope you know what I mean.
