I wind up playing different characters here and there. I like being able to start over.

Nothing wrong with playing different characters. It helps remind you that it's still just fun and games.

Hmm... To the extent I agree with everyone else... Basically when something sparks someone to create an image they run with it till it's either seen to be the norm of yourself and you enjoy it to no end... or you burn yourself out and just look away when it's brought up or something. Like Echoen said you could probly take some time off from Rhen and her INcarnations... or more so it's a might be that it's all the FOx play perhaps... ^^;... (just noting that each charater you brought up happened to be a Vixen/FOx and let's be honest.. how burning is it to see a Vixen/Fox every where you go ujust to find yourself being the same thing...) Creating a new image that suits the norm you more and possibly not so... WEll foxy or something... ^^;... Best advice there is at the moment really.

Well, I've jumped through a few mediums over the years. First I was a dragon, then a feline, then a dragon again, then Rhennessa, and now back to Kefkah, but as a fox, and let's be honest, foxes with lotsa big to them are great =P

I'm kinda worried that I've negatively associated myself with playing Rhen since Wyld's up and fuck you to the fandom, that hurt a bit, and folks are always bugging the shit outta me asking how Wyld's doing, etc =/

You should tell people to go ask the person that's lived with him for the past 20 years that knows him best. I got a good explanation from Mika (through one of his alts), as to exactly what happened with Wyld. Maybe we can get him to post a thread on the Macrophile forums as to what happened to put an end to all the questions?

I do agree what Wyld did was totally the wrong way to leave the fandom with a bunch of people hanging.

Also, I kind of miss seeing you as Rhen, but what you do is up to you. However these people who ask you for more art when you're as Rhen are doing it simply because big busty females are obviously popular, but these people also don't respect the player behind the character by bugging them like this.

To tell the truth, when I found Macrophile, this website and the BFFunnies, I did kind of fantasize about Rhen such as daydreaming her suddenly showing up in this world walking around like she's lost. Once I found out the person behind Rhen was a guy, that stopped.

Hah, regarding the stopped fantasizing part. There's a bit Wyld did to Pads and I that really earned some ire from us, I ain't gonna go into it, but 'nuff said we both wanna slug him one =/

The BF Funnies was definitely a measure to popularity. It still gets me that folks say I'm popular. I'm not, Rhen in the comic is =P I ain't really all that involved in the macro community anymore, like a lot of the little sects of the fandom I jump into, they all sorta degrade a while after that, I'm often in after their peak. Macro's still fun, but there's just too much absurdity in it these days for my liking =/

Meh. Play what you like. If you're a good person, people will like you regardless of the form or gender.

I dunno, there's definitely a stigma in the fandom that if folks aren't sexually interested in ya ya tend to get ignored a whole lot. Having been in the fandom for years before Rhen, as one of the many ignored nobody's about the place, I know how that is. As soon as Rhen cropped up and I got a bucket of art from some friends, suddenly I was really popular, which is kinda ridiculous. Slipping back into being Kefkah, folks ain't nearly as interested in chilling out with me, etc.

*grin* Well I still like Kefkah, even if I don't see the foxy guy very much.

I'd say I certainly got a bit more interest when I was a dragon than, say, a gryphon. I think more people are into herm dragons than male birdcats. But a number of people are still interested, and after a few years I'd have to say.. the quality of the attention is better too. That is, I'm not getting as much unwanted attention.

I don't think I'm coherently expressing what I'm trying to say here, I hope you know what I mean.
