Hey folks, for those in the know, I live in the northwest part of LA, near where the Palisades fire is currently raging.
I'm not currently in any active evacuation zones (Despite an alert that went out to the whole LA region earlier today by mistake).
I have some coworkers and friends in the region I am capable of leaning on should I need to book it, and have most essentials, cat included, ready to go if the alert does come down and we lose a chunk of the city to flames.
I have a lot of friends and colleagues that're out of homes and businesses now, I sympathize for them immensely, it must be extremely difficult to cope with.
For anyone else in the region, be it LA, Pasadena, or San Fernando and Clarita valleys, please stay safe.
