Rules for commissions (Updated November 2024)
Here is my current commission info.
When I am ready to take commissions, I will post a journal on FA and an update on Twitter with the number of open slots. For now, it's first-come first-serve. I'll review each application and close once I have enough.
Prices are also based on the number of stages to progess it through. Most of my work is in "ink and paint", which consists of 4 stages: sketch, inks, flat colors, shades. I can sketch & color & shade 1 figure in 30 minutes, and ink 1 figure in 45 minutes. This affects the amount of time I take to complete your commission, and the prices reflect this amount of time.
Payment currently through Ko-fi or PayPal ONLY. If you are willing to spend the time to go over alternate payment options, let me know, and I might be able to accommodate you.
sketch: $20 per sketched figure
ink: $36 per inked figure
flats: $48 per flat-colored figure
shades: $60 per shaded figure
+ $5 for a basic background (a lit room or a plain environment)
+ $10 for a detailed background (a furnished room or cozy outdoors)
+ $15 per complex background (an intricate laboratory or a jungle)
+ $10 for 2000 word story
Once you submit a commission form, I will review the form to confirm that the commission type and details are permissible under my terms. I reserve the right to refuse any commission for any reason. You should expect to receive a response by your preferred platform within 48 hours.
Once accepted, you will be expected to pay at least enough to cover the sketch of the commission. Once payment is received, you will be scheduled for the next available evening of drawing. Failure to pay will result in a freeze in all future commissions. Paying the total cost in full is preferred, but you may set up a payment plan to stagger your costs. If you pay for a full colored and shaded piece (4 stages), you will only have to pay 1/4 of the total cost for sketching to begin. In order for inking to be scheduled, you will have to pay another 1/4 of the total cost, and so forth.
No less than 48 hours before beginning the commission sketching, you will be given a quick (~10 minute) set of thumbnails to show the possible layout of your sketch. At this point, you are entitled to have any pose redrawn (quickly) to your satisfaction. You are encouraged to attend the stream when your commission is being drawn, so that you may give quick and immediate feedback in the drawing process.
Almost all work is streamed in the evenings, starting no earlier than 6:00 PM ET. Delays are always a possibility; if for any reason the stream does not begin by 6:45 PM ET, your stage will be worked on the next evening until complete. You are permitted to have your commission not streamed, if you would rather it not be seen by the public (though this will preclude immediate feedback).
Once sketching is complete, you are allowed to ask for no more than one free complete redrawing of a full figure, OR two complete redrawings of two close-ups. Further redrawings will require paying for the sketches at full price. For this reason, if you are seeking a specific pose, it is best that you ask for it during the thumbnailing.
Redrawing of inks and shades is only permitted for extraordinary reasons related to the technical aspects; redrawing figures will require paying full-price at these stages. Redrawing of colors is limited to the base colors themselves.
Unless you specifically request it, all finished commissions will be immediately posted to my account in reduced-size. You will be emailed the full-size picture, which you are permitted to post to your personal accounts, so long as I remain credited as the artist; keeping my signature intact is sufficient in this regard.
There are 3 categories of different things I'll draw. Your idea should have 0 things from the No list, and ideally more bullet points from the Yes list than the Maybe list.

PRICES (updated November 2024):
Prices are based upon the number of total full bodies of people, human or anthro or feral, in a picture, henceforth referred to as "figures". Half-bodies and close-ups of faces or hands count as a half-figure. Plushes and elaborate background elements may also count as figures depending on how elaborate they are.Prices are also based on the number of stages to progess it through. Most of my work is in "ink and paint", which consists of 4 stages: sketch, inks, flat colors, shades. I can sketch & color & shade 1 figure in 30 minutes, and ink 1 figure in 45 minutes.
