Clicking the link doesn't hack you, the server has a verification bot that has you log in via a QR code, which gives them your login token.

Oh shit. I think I encountered a hacked account last night. Didn't interact with them though, thankfully they were trying to old "I accidentally reported you on Steam" trick and it was easy to ignore.

Never got a message from you, but I did unfriend the hacked account once this got out. From what I recall it was an exposed scam right?
