Oh, gosh, I never would have expected something like that from him. I've only just been getting into the inflation stuff but even I knew beforehand how well known he was in the community.

I hope this is the end of the drama for you, just getting what kind of person he is out here then not having to think back on the experience again.

This hurts to see, but thank you for sharing... I love seeing Oz content, but this is heartbreaking. I hope the dramas end for you. :'(

Wow, After reading all that, it's just so crazy. I'm sooo sorry you had to put up with this and I hope everything will go better for you now! The audacity from this man tho, asking for the '71 berry suit, then asking you to not make it for anyone else. Just to get whiney when you make it for yourself for fun. He doesn't own it, nor does he have a right to dictate what you do with your art!
Also, he made an obligation with the trade regardless of how vague it was. He said he'd give you a berry suit, when you'd give him the 3D model. He offered the suit as his part of the deal, if he regrets it that's entirely on him. You offered to fix the model where there were bugs and updated it multiple times. He can't get angry about it when he fills his part of the deal.

I'd also like to point out that Oz attempted to upcharge Suffle by claiming that his suit was $2,000, then later $1,800. Oz upcharged his blueberry suit, only offering me $1,200 for a preowned suit or $1,400 for a newly made one. These suits probably cost him $500-$600 for him to produce. Oz tried sugarcoating the commission by claiming that he's offering a $2,000 asset for something that other people paid $500 for. When in reality, it probably ended up costing him $500 to him to produce the suit that he was trading. Then claimed he deserved more because the suit cost more than what Suffle would charge.

It's a bait and switch scam.

It sucks that this is still going on. I had a rough experience with him almost 10 years ago now and you'd hope that people would improve themselves in that time

More then a decade of this same attitude and hearing the same stories every few years just keeps proving to me that he's never going to change or improve as a person.

I'm sorry you went through that. It's pretty on par for what I've heard in the past.

Yikes... sorry to hear that happen to you, Shuffle... I've been manipulated in the past by someone who I thought was my friend but turned out to be a drama queen who used my friendship and trust with no care. I do hope that your past the storm now and that you don't get caught in more drama.

Thanks for sharing this. I understand the kind of anxiety you feel around these kind of people. I've had my experience with people who I thought were nice but later turn out to be bad.

I'd heard some bad things, but man, this guy sucks. I never realised how awful he was. Gotta admit though, I find it hilarious how possessive he is of an outfit that was designed around 30 years before he even joined the scene and was featured heavily in hundreds of other artists' works in that time.
I'm glad that it appears to be over for you now. Hopefully you don't have to deal with this guy any more.
