I have seen this in the anime/gaming/furry community...... NO ONE WANTS TO GO OUTSIDE THEIR BUBBLE! Go outside, talk to someone with a hello or good morning and maybe try to make a friend that you didnt meet online! Even better make a firend who isnt into your intrests or even someone you disagree with. You would be surprised WE use to live like this before the modern internet.

very true! i like venturing outside and connecting with like-minded outsiders, but the disagreeables follow you everywhere and need to hush up sometimes. they make life hard for everyone.

I think you missed my point. You have to try to make friends or have some sort of social connection with people even the disagreeables. You say they make life hard for everyone but in reality It's usually just for your bubble. If you have so many friends and like minded people around you yet you still feel alone on a deserted island then that feeling will never change unless you change it. This is why I said go outside and talk to those people. You would be surprised how much people have in common or get alone even though they never see eye to eye.

I don't agree. I somewhat miss 90-s when people actually had to go outside to socialize, rather then pretend who they aren't behind the screen

Didn't have much friends during childhood, and I can't be arsed trying to chase down "friends" which never bothers contacting me at all.
Gets old having to be the one initiating contact every time.

We deserve to go extinct. Most of us at least.
In the end, in most countries, a good chunk of those billions are just indoctrinated cannon fodder for the next dumb war that will bring humanity on it's knees.
