I know it’s been WAY too long since I’ve said anything after posting the first part of Simba’s Pride posted in September of 2018. I do feel bad about it taking so long, but it is a LOT of work and I’ve had distractions (both past and recent) that interrupted my working on the series. I have gotten comments and notes asking if I’m still working on the series and I’ve had to tell all who ask that I am still working on it, though because of the paid commission work and other things going on in my life, the series takes a back seat sometimes.

But over the years I’ve added to the second part and a little over halfway done with it at around 15,000 words. I’ve had to change a bit of the story to fit into the world that the first series built and I have new challenges to navigate with the rest of Simba’s Pride, but I assure you all that I am working as diligently as I can on it. Creating new characters, new conflicts, and merging my new creations with familiar characters and conflicts to create a new storyline.

That being said, I’ve been considering opening up donations for this series that would help me justifying putting this project on the front burner. I’ve also been considering putting up previews onto my Patreon page as a way to keep interest going. So, I’m just in a place where I’m considering my options, as I want to find a balance between the amount of work I put into my writing and the compensation I get out of it. I know that might sound greedy to some, but I’ve written so many long series with no pay and it… just sucks not feeling like I’m valued at what I’m worth.

So, in conclusion, I love writing erotic stories for you all to read, but I also want to be compensated fairly for the time and effort I put into said erotica. So, if anyone has any suggestions for me to pursue that would be fair to me and the people who are still very much wanting this series to finish, please let me know. I’ll be considering options myself, so any added insights would be welcomed.
