How egotistical to think i owe anybody anything for all the money, time, and effort I put in over the years for no personal gain and dealing with selfish people like you. Congrats, you're now part of the reason I'm leaving.

That's not what "egotistical" means.

It was free content written for themselves. They don't owe you anything.

You could have saved them all this time. Artists don't owe the people that consume their work anything, especially not their mental well-being and its both greedy and selfish to act like they do.

you the guy that was upset not enough people were reading your stories? why leave? is it worth deleting everything instead of just taking a break from the site?

It is, thats why I've done it.

But surely it is pretty short-sighted if you haven't at least made private back-ups of the work you made? It's not like you can just magically un-delete all the work you've put up if you change your mind 6 months from now. They're gone.

Wouldn't it have been better just to disable the account? Maybe create another called, maybe something like 'destregra_lurks' or something, so you can still see the whole site?

I have private backup of all my work.

Besides, I'm sure there's a ton of people out there who have taken my commissions and have them uploaded everywhere, if you want to see them im sure you can find it.

I do hope you come back some day, or at least you stay creative in private.
