Have you gone through any medical intervention?

I wanna hear your story! (If you feel comfortable with sharing, of course.)
We've recently gone through a few medical interventions at home, fortunately everything came out alright. The first few weeks after surgery were hard. Not so much about the physical pain but rather the uncertainty of what's normal vs. what's not. And you know you can't fully trust internet.
All in all, we're better than when we started. Which is crazy, that you can just open up bodies (surgery), swish them around and fix stuff.

It's a pain in the ass, but I'm used to it.
BTW, Nichelle Nichols, "Uhura" from Star Trek died today.
I sure will miss her.
