Thumbnails and Stories

So, hello. I have never used these but might aswell, if only to get thoughts out.
I do stories! you may have seen them, theyre usually just whatever kink I have on my mind and generally involving Charr. Usually Rytlock or the other higherups.
The more power they hold the more fun it is to humiliate a man and all that.
Anyway, I've been using the default FA story thumbnail for now but am beginning to feel it might be a good idea to use a custom one? not sure how to make those though so if anyone has any ideas I'm willing to listen. Aside from that, often wonder about the quality of my stories/what people like about em etc. New ways of putting a Charr man through his paces are fun.
For that matter, if you got some prompts for me to write a (short) story on. Feel free to drop em anytime, even if I dont write it I like seeing them.

I assume it is a general matter of slapping it together in paint/a bit more of a refined art program. Any resolution that is good to work at for readability?
Paint can be difficult to make the text work, since it's more easily readable with a border, though there's some free art programs like GIMP or Krita that could probably work well for bordered text.
Also I just had a quick check and forgot about dpi being a thing
The 30 font size only works if the dpi is a third of the pixel x pixel (ie 100 dpi on a 300x300)
But that just makes things even more confusing so like I have the title about 10-20% the height of the overall picture of the thumbnail.
I wonder if it either needs a while yo update or just does this if it initially didnt have a thumbnail. Either way, thanks for getting me into the right direction! XD
