Herru everyone ^w^! It's me again, Jeffery :3
Hello everyone, I am still here >W<,
I hope everyone has been well, I have been doing pretty good myself. So to start off this REALLY late journal, it didn't take long for my workplace to once again become a warzone. So to summarize, they first took me off of scones on the premise that because of my skin condition, I'm not allowed to make them until my face clears up (which btw I could take them to court over, COULD but I won't. I don't like legal fees and it's not worth it because I'll be looking for a new place to work... AGAIN. Ok seriously I'm sick of looking for new jobs every five minutes -_ -). That sparked a war of sorts as my mom hasn't gone in there to buy any of the baked goods since and I've been professional with my bosses and co-workers, but not as friendly. Basically they picked at something that I've been dealing with for a while, posed as doctors saying I need to follow their regiment to clear it up, I told them that wouldn't work but they persisted, I almost left over some of the smallest things they tried, and now I'm pretty much going to be placing an application in somewhere new hopefully soon because of the next issue (oh also, my mom is a licensed esthetician and so is the person I go to see for my face and skin, they both said that what makes me have issues is oily food and stress, my bosses said it was milk, cheese and sugars, all things I've eaten consistently throughout my life and it never made my face or skin have breakouts). Now then, the second issue that happened (hence why I said it sparked a war), the owner of the salons' kid (the salon my mom works at btw) as well as the owner herself dealt with something I wouldn't like to share full details on. All I can say is not only did the tea cafe I work at loose the business of the salon owner and anyone that goes to that salons' business, but what happened to them caused my bosses to have to promptly fire one of my co-workers for (like, that HAD to happen). I came back this week and everything seems ok, the business was busier during the afternoon but otherwise, seemed to go just fine. They also got someone to fill in that spot the other co-worker was in.
Second on the list of things, for the first time in a year and a half, I got sick in mid-july, yeyy ><. So, we went to the beach the week before I got sick and everything was fine, apart from the next day having minor dehydration and feeling slightly sun sick. Well then, I went to work that week and I got sick from someone at my workplace (I know who it was) and for the first week I was feverish and stuffed up, the second I tried to go to work on friday after thinking I was fine, then after one day I tapped out and said, "yeah that's too much for me right now." Well funny thing too with that, that Saturday my dad came home and told me the news from my boss; my boss couldn't even tell me to my face about what they were going to do with the scones. Oh and just after that, they tried to force the two up front to make them by getting them to come in at 9AM to make them, they both said they're not going to do that after I told them what happened. So now I feel a lot better (obviously x3) and I should be good on not getting sick for another year and a half maybe two (I would only hope). Another thing that happened, after I got over my sickness I had another tooth break on me, fun ><. I just went to the dentist yesterday and oh boi do I hate needles and oh boi do I hate drilling. my new tooth should be here two weeks from now but until then, no hard foods, no steak, no sticky foods, no crunchy or chewy and whatever my new bite doesn't like, no.
Third on this list of things, Helluva boss season 2 episode one came out, yeyyyyy ^W^! I love the series already and can't wait for Hazbin to come out, but now I have a new favorite episode, that being episode 1 of season 2!?!?!? (anyone gets that reference x3). I basically have been waiting forever (the 270-ish days it took) and it was so worth the wait, especially because the crew did such a phenomenal job on everything, the backgrounds, the color schemes, the characters, the voice actors, the audio mixing and design, the visuals, it's all there and it conveyed so much through it all (I'm gushing ok x3).
Fourth, this next one sucks. I had to phase out my old drawing tablet from the first time I did digital art and buy a new one because my old one got ruined by soda. So for context, I was having a great day that day, then after getting home from work and getting something to eat, my soda fell over on my desk and spilled all over my set up. My computer is fine! it's far enough away from my desk to where it wouldn't have been affected, but my keyboard now has sticky keys (which I tried cleaning but there's some keys that persist in being sticky) and my first drawing tablet I've ever had is now ruined. I tried to get it to work but I'm pretty certain the soda got to where it isn't supposed to go, that being the chipboard, and shorted or heavily damaged a vital component. I got a new one now, it's about 3 times the size too, but I'm never going to get rid of the old one. What I mean is, as it was my first digital tablet, I'd like to keep it and display it. After all, it's the reason why about 85 percent or more of my art is digital on FA and it also is the reason I got better at artwork over the years, helping me see little details here and there I'd never think about unless I did all of that digital art. Granted I could've gotten better with traditional and such and then I'd have more refined techniques for traditional, but mainly I think the digital art aspect was most helpful for me because of how much storage I'd need for all the traditional pieces I'd make. Either way, that tablet is now retired and has served me very well and now the new tablet will have to fill some big paws (shoes? but why shoes? besides, shoes are only here to be ripped... x3).
FIFTH, along the subject of art, yes artwork, I'm working on getting stuff drawn and uploaded. Some art I got is not for this account (it's personal-ish). Also here's a numbered list of what I have planned (some of it will be for Jade's account as hers is NSFW):
1. Shaftbeast artwork of my first 3 sonas (Jeffery, Keter, Jade) (Jade's account, NSFW)
2. Rook artwork (He'll be here, even though he's technically supposed to be NSFW, he's more on the mature side, backstory to him as well will be added to submission)
3. Late 2020 Halloween drawings (THEY TAKE A CERTAIN PRIORITY OVER EVERYTHING, I WANT THEM DONE RIGHT, BUT ALSO DONE SOON, IT'S ALMOST 2 YEARS ;w;)
4. NSFW Refs for my sonas (Jeffery, Keter, Jade, etc.) (This would be more mature not adult, so it'll be ok here on my account) (anything with certain kinks or fetish material, Jade's account)
5. Mutate me round 1 to completion (This one is gonna be finished at some point, I don't have an exact on this one yet, mainly because of other ideas I have, it will be coming back)
6. Jeffery the seven tails Redux (I never finished the first attempt so I'm gonna try my hand at revising it, it'll take a bit before I get to it though)
7. The Origin of Keter Husky Comic series (HIGH PRIORITY, IT'S MY FIRST STORY I EVER WROTE, I WANT THE COMIC TO BE 2ND IN THE LIST OF PRIORITY)
8. How Dauntless (plane TF Comic) (I'm getting around to that one as well, I mainly put it off because of other ideas as well)
9. Siruses' comic series (reads like a manga, R - L) (Coming "Soon" x3)
10. Sekali and Rampart Silent Comic (In the works, but not ready for print yet)
11. Jess the Wolfe story (Oh boy, writing. So, this one I have MULTIPLE plots and such I wanna go with this story. Originally, I was gonna go for a lighter hearted, slice of life type story. Now I'm thinking not so action-packed, but rather like slice of life but also has something going on with it, not like gods and demons fighting over the fate of the world but also not Saturday afternoon indoors playing video games and having some antics ensue here and there and that be it, in the middle somewhere).
12. the gods and goddesses in my lore and maybe even a hierarchy (had this planned for a long time, it's coming "soon", just like Ragnarök, btw GOW: Ragnarök coming November 9th OWO)
13. Eldritch Hierarchy (for good reason x3)
14. Faidrinian species artwork (working on these boios too >w<)
15. Cherno-wolves artwork (coming "soon" x3)
16. More inverse artwork (and maybe lore owo)
17. On the subject of lightborns, lightsworns, abyssals and the ruler of the multiverse and the ruler of the void (sounds like a title, MINE! >W<) (no but seriously, it'll be a series of drawings for lore about lightborns, lightsworns, those that become abyssals, the ruler of the universes in the multiverse that being Astrasseus and the ruler of the void and how the demon realm, Hell, Hades, etc. work kinda) (partially because Siruses' comic will have some of these elements OWO)
18. Updated artwork of Leon the Chameleon Wolf and Taile (including Taile's Anthro form) (Leon and Taile are one, but she can take over and then they become an anthro snake)
I think that's everything for now, if I have any more updates I'll be sure to put them here, but in the meantime, I'm here, I gots a new tablet, I'm ready to art, I've finally gotten something on FA after almost two months, and now I'm gonna try to draw stuff >w<.
