character away from fans of a fighting game franchise (seriously, what is wrong with you people? stop stealing things from other groups and stop converting things that aren't actually transgender into something that is. it's seriously fucked up what you people keep doing.).

character name is Bridget. character is a femboy, he was born a biological male along with his twin brother but was raised as a girl thus he has a girl's name and dresses like a girl.
BUT that does not explicitly mean he is or make him transgender.

he is literally a biological male per the canon backstory. they didn't turn him into a girl, transition him, or put him through surgery to be a girl.
he. is. not. transgender.
he is a biological MALE character.
so, it's not just lgb people they're trying to steal and take things away from now. now their trying to retcon the backstory and lore of fictional video game characters to add those to their ranks.
and it would be one thing if it was the character's original creator making this decision to change him from being a femboy to being transgender but it seems as if this is a case of freaking localizers ruining things AGAIN!
this is why translators and localizers of video games and other works of fiction continue to get so much flak. get it through your fucking thick skulls already: people do not want your fucking ideology. they want things to be translated as accurately as possible, NOT changed to suit YOUR ideological and/or political beliefs!
when you do that, you're not doing it for other people who are fans of what you're translating/localizing. you're doing it explicitly for people who support your personal politics and ideological beliefs.

Black Panther, I have no problem with. Created black, from Africa. No problem.
Even the "she" versions of superheroes are okay, provided the "he" versions still exist: Supergirl, Batgirl, She Hulk, etc.
It's when they turn someone overnight from one gender to another, or one race to other for no other reason than "diversity" I get annoyed.
I especially rankle at the sexualization of them. Just stop. Sexual activity was never a part of their superhero persona. Stop making it a part.
They want to create their own superhero who is gay? Fine. They want to create their own superhero who is trans? Fine.
But the reason why they want to take existing superheroes and make them gay or trans or Asian or whatever is because they think their fame will translate with them.
Hint: it won't. And they'll be left wondering why.
Secretly, they know this, but presume the reason is bigotry.
