Becoming more left-wing vs becoming more right-wing

I like how when people move to the right, it's usually because they learned some new information that they didn't know and had a moment of genuine change in their mind, but when people move to the left, it's either just blindly believing what they are told by someone which they are usually peer pressured into doing, or they did something edgy and got called out and couldn't take the heat so they decided to shift way left to try and appease people. Or they're a rapist.
