【Ｔｈｅ Ｂａｅｓ】
So, two weeks ago I applied for a position at my current job (I'm an EMT for a private ambulance company here in the southeast), and I interviewed this past Friday. I didn't think much of it, they told me they had interviewed like 50 people from inside and outside of the company and have widdled it down to about 10 people they were bringing back in for secondary interviews. I go to the interview and it felt so casual despite meeting with the COO of the company, and the current holder of the position. The interview ended up going super well. The COO really likes me, and the current position holder did as well, they liked my past experience with things in this similar position before, and by the end of it, they informed me I was their strongest candidate. They told me they had two more interviews on Monday so that he'd contact me in the middle of the week to let me know if I got it or not. I got a call this morning from our recruiter who handles these things congratulating me and telling me they chose me for the position. I just signed the offer letter this morning and I could not be any more excited than I am right now. The best part? The pay increase is insane. Oh, I'm so excited!
