Fly me to the moon
A dawn of a new age is fast approaching and if you ask me its about damn time.
For those who don’t know NASA will be launching the first flight of the Artemis program on Monday August 29, 2022 which hopefully if everything goes right will not only be the the first step of mankind eventually returning to the moon after 50 years of doing nothing, but also the beginning of a prolong and hopefully permanent human presence on our nearest neighbor.
I love it I'm so excited between Artemis and SpaceX’s Starship about to do its own test flight soon, the new space age is really heating up and I for one am all for it. I mean its the 21 century we literally live in sci-fi times now a days, it is well past time for humanity to get off this dust ball and spread out to all of the other simple breath taking places that exist inside our home system.
So if you have some free time Monday Moring August 29, 2022 I would recommend tuning in to Nasa YouTube feed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMLD0Lp0JBg and join us as we cheer on Artemis 1 on her first flight and hopefully not last flight to the moon.

I am crazy excited about this and even though I will be at work, I will attempt to watch this launch. Hopefully manned missions will follow.

OP
Me too its so cool and somewhat surprising I didn't really think we would actually see SLS fly but here we are. I just hope everything works out and you can see at least the import bits of the launch. As for a man mission supposedly if this one works out the next one will be a have people on it and they will orbit the moon but not land. Then if everything goes right on that mission then the third one will have people on it and they will actually land and once again have human on another world for the 7th time in official history.
