I dunno if you've noticed, but it's been summer. Every year I forgot how poorly the heat fucks with my ability to focus on art.

That being said, some news on why this last month (and probably until mid-october) has been less than productive:

KorpsCon4 was last weekend!
We raised 15.5k for the queer support group The519. I'm still staggered that folks are so generous!
And yes for those who know, I did another TTRPG run this year, was a blast as always and yes, I'll post a lightly edited (to kill long pauses and similar) recording of it on youtube when I can.

But also

Hey I'm getting GRS. I don't know if it's really much of a secret but hi, I'm trans. And I have been for... 12 years now? I'm back living in Canada so it's accessable to me now. Getting major surgery in a week and also visiting family I've not seen in a decade before that.

I hope all this makes it a little clear why I've not been getting as much work done.

If you have a commission from me that is currently in the works? Yeah it's on hold. I will get back to it when I can.
If you submitted a form, but haven't heard from me for a sketch of payment? Bluntly, I think I'm just going to clear the list and take new entries. Please contact me before.... let's call it Sept 20th? (That's a good cut off date I guess?) to let me know you still want your entry even if it will be several months after you filled it in.

I'm probably also going to be bumping my prices up a bit. Not much. Don't worry. We're talking like 5-20 bucks more depending on bracket.

Okay last bit.

I'm going to spend my recovery time doing some research and soul searching to see if I can figure out a good option to put forward for Patreon. I miss doing comics, and I've got other projects that I'd like to be able to feel comfortable doing without the threat of not doing commission work to pay bills. Like raising prices, this is about just some quality of living shit. Capitalism is hell and we're all stuck in it.

For now, and I want to be 110% clear, this is not an emergency fund or anything, but also I am basically going to be away from my tablet for like... a month straight minimum? If you're willing to toss a few bucks at me to help that anxiety at bay? I can't stress this enough, I know how shitty the world is. Don't even think of tossing money at me if it means stressing your funds!
