Heya everyone,
I'm not really someone who writes journals at all, so bear with me if this reads kinda wonky.
I'm just going to use this option as some sort of diary and as a milestone for myself to (mentally) proceed to a new chapter.
This year has been absolute dogshit so far, to keep it short.
Don't get me wrong, i am thankful for all the good things that are coming my way, making new friends and perspectives opening up left and right.
That really is a privilige i am grateful for and i am inspired by the strength others have to afford to push through their hardships.
But oh man.
This year (so far) is riddled with Fear, loss and mourning, wherever i look.
Its barely possible for me to give empathy to everyone in my circle needing it, all while my own world is taking blow after blow lately. It's numbing.
Last night, my town celebrated the end of its yearly traditions, after four days of coming together and cherish its history and community. concluded by the grand tattoo that is also played for specific national events.
It may sound a little bloated, but i used this opportunity to reflect and honor the good times that have passed with the ones i love and miss.
Hopefully, it marked a new beginning to brighter days for all of us.
