I've been a Chuck Palahniuk fan since "Fight Club" and have all his books, but after "Choke" I've been disappointed...I'm honestly not sure why I keep buying them outside of perhaps hope that they will be better.
I *did* like "Snuff" (the last book of his I've purchased) more than the other recent ones, I felt it was more along the lines of his first 3 books...but the ending just seemed like it was tacked on to attempt to shock you. And I hate things that attempt that, because it's obvious what they're trying to do and so the shock factor is lost completely =p
My favorites are Rant, invisible Monsters, Snuff and lullaby!!!
