A Long While - Birthday 2022 Update

It's been a long time since I've written up one of these. Between work, the comic project, other pieces of art, and then other things coming up in life, I just hadn't the energy to sit down and write one of these.
That's also why I haven't been uploading as much as I used to. I just get the urge to keep creating, keep drawing and doodling, and sometimes finishing pictures I feel strongly about that will make for solid pieces. Sometimes those get posted with just a blurb, but sometimes I want to write a bit of a story to them. In the latter case, I then usually don't get around to posting since I often don't get around to writing it.
And then with the Pageant II comic project, last year was very slow going, not quite having a good grasp on how to approach it as much as I thought I did. But as I worked away at the sketches, just trying to get the gist ideas out, I became more and more comfortable with it. I now have the whole thing pretty much doodled out, but many of the later pages need to be refined with the proper characters and everything else sketched in.
My goal is to get everything sketched out by the end of this year. And, get them posted as well, but I do want to try and get them all posted sooner than later, so they may not be 100% refined when I get around to them, compared to the proper end-of-year plan. But, we shall see! I'm very fortunate that everyone involved is still on board with the project. I do apologize for the slow progress; I hope to improve! ^^v
Overall the past few years I've just felt sluggish. I haven't had the same drive to be active here like I used to. But! I am going to try and change that. I've said it before though I think.
I'm taking a week off in October and November - hopefully - and will use that time to get back here, and get some good work done on the various projects I have going. Otherwise, just try to fit things in between my part-time grocery job that's having me work full-time hours most of the time. XD;
