Hey, all. Hope you have been doing well C: Just a small update. I will be putting up a commission forms post sometime next week. It's been a long while since I've been able to accept commissions proper and I am excited to get back to it.
These last two years I finally got my dream of owning poultry and we now currently have 60ish birds. We also moved to a place with a barn in July and I legit took the entire month getting everything set up for them and it's still not done. The barn was for moo moos 🐄 and we altered it to accommodate birds :) There is still a lot to do, but they are thriving and happy. No, we do not eat them :p They are pets.
Since we have land and space another dream of mine has finally happened. My boyfriend and I started a small poultry sanctuary. Currently we have about 10+ special needs birds or roosters that were dropped off. Some of them need special medication, some can't walk properly so we need to bath and make sure they eat, drink and are clean, others are "retired", and so on. It's a lot of time and dedication, but it's worth while. Around the time I start up my commissions I will be opening up a Patreon for donations to the special need birds for anyone that wants to help us a bit on our journey :D

Sounds awesome to be accomplishing dreams and that's a lot of birds too! Best wishes with all of them and hope alle special needs ones grow strong and healthier
