Well what can I say, after two wonderful weeks of vacationing in Germany I’m back here again.

Here’s just a highlight of what I did.

After meeting up with my friend in Dusseldorf we hit up a bunch of local landmarks, museums and castles. Which I did not know Germany had so many castles. Each one with their own unique beauty and charm.

We visited Kempen, Krefeld and Schloss Moyland castle. Got to visit Cologne and climb up into the Cathedral. Saw the Externsteine rock structure and Xanten Archaeological Park.
We traveled to Kassel, Heidelberg, Rothenberg, Muhlheim, Erfurt, Leipzig and Berlin. Visiting so many museums and historical structures along the way. Everyday spent on the move from one place to the next, taking it all in. We put in so many steps each day that we were exhausted by the end of the night.

Our final stop was Eurofurence which was a lot of fun. Got to meet a bunch of artists for the first time. Meet and make new friends. As well as pick up some fantastic art from the Art Show.

By the end of it all I didn’t want to go home. Almost teared up a bit when I had to say goodbye to my friend at the airport.

Overall it was a fantastic vacation and I'm extremely grateful for the whole experience.
