Many years ago, in the year 1997, in a town called Skunkton located in an isolated swamp, two skunks named James and Jenny were having some adult time and enjoying themselves and nine months later, Jenny gave birth to a skunk kit named Jake. Jake had a great time playing with the other skunks in the swamp. In 1999, Jenny gave birth to a female skunk that they named Sabrina. Jake was happy to have a sibling. When Jake was nine, he had stumbled into a sticky mud pit. Panicking, Jake struggled, which made him sink faster. Meanwhile a girl had wandered in the swamp to find some mud to sink in when she noticed a musky, acidic smell. Gagging, she walked toward where the smell was coming from and was surprised to see a skunk stuck in the mud up to his chin. Without wasting a second, the girl laid on her belly in the muddy ground and reached toward the sinking skunk. Surprised and happy, Jake grabbed her hand and was pulled free from the sucking mud. "Thanks for rescuing me." said Jake. "You're welcome swee-." said the girl before the mud fell off the striped creature's tail, revealing two bright white stripes. "Wait, y-you're a s-s-skunk?" asked the girl. "Yes, yes I am." said Jake. "P-p-p-please don't s-spray me." said the girl. "I won't spray you." said Jake. "Phew, that's a relief." said the girl. "My name's Sally." said the girl. "Nice to meet you, Sally." said Jake. *a year later* Jake was walking down the hallway at Valley Hollows Elementary School, when he heard a commotion. He went to check it out and he was shocked. His sister was being bullied, but was too afraid to spray. Jake growled and ran in between his sister and her bullies. "Hands off my sister!" snapped Jake. "Ah, look who we have here." said one of the bullies. "Another one." said another bully. "What are you going to do? Fight us? Bet you're too cowardly to fight." said the third bully. Jake stomped his foot and floofed his tail. "Oooh, yeah. Like that will scare us." mocked the first bully. "It's a warning you fuckers!" shouted Jake. "Yeah, right." said the bully. "Didn't your parents tell you not to mess with a skunk?" asked Jake. "What's a skunk?" asked the second bully. "And why should we not mess with skunks?" asked the first bully. "This is why." said Jake before he turns away from the bullies before bending down and raising his puffed up tail. "Ew, stop mooning us." said the third bully. Jake smirks and exposes his two red papillae and sprays the bullies. Jake was surprised that he kept spraying because skunks usually have a limited amount of spray. The bullies coughed as the oily musk splashed all over them and sputtered as the smelly fluid went into their mouths and they trampled each other while they were trying to run away. Jake then stopped spraying and looked over at the retreating bullies and flipped them off. Later that year, a planet was discovered and was named MD-11 (although it was already called Earth by the inhabitants of the planet) and a year later, the inhabitants of the planet declared war on planet Nercron-5. Jake's parents were drafted into the war and Sabrina and Jake never saw them again. The war raged on for a few years. Jake was in college when tragedy struck. His parents' space battleship, the USS Stinker, was blown up in a fierce battle. There were no survivors. Jake was devastated beyond repair. After the war, the anthros and the humans signed a treaty and some of the humans moved onto Nercron-5. The reason the humans declared war on the anthros was because the anthros had invaded Earth on June 13, 2009. Now, humans and anthros can live in harmony. After the death of his parents, Jake started caring for Sabrina. The days were tough as the two skunks were homeless and scrounging for things to eat. They were eventually taken to an orphanage, but being an orphan that was a skunk was tough as no one wanted to adopt a skunk. It was a couple of years before Jake and Sabrina were adopted by Ketsu and Fluttershy Anaguma. Jake and Sabrina were happy to finally be adopted. After being adopted, Ketsu and Fluttershy took the two skunks to their new home. Their room was cozy and Jake noticed that the room had a Nintendo Switch and instantly called dibs on it. Even though Jake and Sabrina never sprayed, the room still slowly filled with the scent of skunk.
Ketsu didn't know how to clean the two skunks, so he went online and looked up how to clean skunks, then went to the store to find the skunk shampoo. Every year on the date of his parents' death, Jake would walk to an area of the public park where stone tablets were erected with the names of the anthros that were lost in the war on them and every time he saw his parents' names, he would always get tears in his eyes as he remembered the fun times he had with his parents before the war. One year, Jake was visiting the tablets and couldn't hold back his tears and another skunk noticed him and asked if James and Jenny were Jake's friends. When Jake explained that James and Jenny were his parents, the skunk felt bad for him and comforted him. "I'm sorry for your loss." said the skunk. "By the way, my name's Johnny." said the skunk. "Nice to meet you, Johnny." said Jake. "What's your name?" asked Johnny. "My name's Jake." Jake said. "Cool name." said Johnny. "Thanks." said Jake. "Would you wanna be friends?" asked Johnny. "I would love to." said Jake. Three years later, Johnny passed away after battling cancer and Jake was devastated. Jake, Sabrina, their friends, and Johnny's family attended Johnny's funeral. Every year, Jake would visit Johnny's grave and put a flower on it. "I miss you every day." said Jake. "I know you're in a better place. You were the nicest friend that I have ever met."
