I'm thinking of doing my own Top 10 of them. Think there's enough habits to make it work?

Hokay...from the home office in Columbus Georgia, Steve Addlesee's top ten list of favorite furry characters in alphabetical order (cause I'm NOT about to get into the "why do you like this character over that character?" controversy).

8 Cutey Bunny (My "first love")

However, the nomenclature of the list is a bit misleading. I went in thinking that it would mention the guilty pleasures people indulge in EVERY game, and not just specific games themselves.
For example, for me, one of my guilty pleasures...
...or maybe I should say "Guilty Habits"...
...is completing a monster-pedia in every game that has one. You know the drill:
The game comes with an in-game index of every baddie and boss in the game, complete with strengths, weaknesses, how much damage it takes to kill them, EXP (if any), and...
...and this is the biggie...
...DROP ITEMS!
Yes, the random goody that baddies will sometimes drop. In some cases, you can steal the item, and sometimes the item you can steal and the item the enemy drops are completely different. So now you start grinding away until you've gotten a stockpile of every single possible weapon, armor, material, food, or whatever, but ONLY until you've filled in every last blank of the monster-pedia.
That is easily my number 1 gaming guilty habit. Sometimes I enjoy it, sometimes I don't, but I am COMPELLED to do it every time.

As for big inventory, YES!
I have clocked in over 120 hours on Dragon Quest 4, and I still have an incomplete monster-pedia. The good news with that game is completing it actually rewards you with 300,000 casino tokens (each token worth 20 GP). That's enough to buy even the most expensive of the rare items that you can only get by playing the casino games.
Of course, being the perfectionist I am, I want a REALLY complete monster-pedia to show all the drop items too. To do that, you either need to have Torneko RANDOMLY steal from the monster (which monster he steals from and when he steals is completely randomized as he tends to do his own thing and ignore any commands you give him), or get them to drop it in a Treasure Chest, OR kill 20 of that particular monster. Once you do that, even if you haven't gotten the drop/steal item yet, you can at least see what it is in your "Big Book of Beasts".
Problem is, some monsters are actually really hard to find, and only appear on rare occasions, so while it may be easy for some monsters, it can be bat-shit crazy hard for others.
But alas, it is a guilty habit of mine to make a 100% complete game, and that includes filling out the in-game monster guide.
It's also because of this that I made the "List of Monsters" on Wikipedia.
