What am I if not a lizard

Summer is ending and has me feeling the mode. Its getting chilly, no more hot summer days, and the daylight only gets shorter from here. *sploots* Don't get me wrong, I love the fall season with the autumn leaves, Halloween and spooky aesthetics, but I think I am seasonally affected by the change. Every year I come down with it, and it never gets easier. Seasonal depression is not something I ever talk about, though its impacted me a lot in the past, and is starting up again. I try to stay positive though and do things to cheer up and keep my head above water. Drawing hasn't been coming to mind much lately though. I just want to sleep until the weather warms up again. <{^.=.^'}>
What am I if not a lizard? I sure feel like one, haha. Oh what it would be to just bask on a rock all day and not worry about anything- err well societal things anyway. If you made it this far reading my nonsense, drop me your favorite artwork of your character or a piece that brings you joy. If I find the inspiration or will to, I might decide to draw them. Also, what is your favorite lizard?

But with as much as society things just continue to make life sometimes a witness of hell. I sometimes wonder how lucky certain reptiles must have it getting to bask or swim all day and not worry about crap. Especially if they live in a good zoo where all they have to do is just be themselves in a protected environment.
This is my favorite art piece of my character, it makes me feel likes it’s the first true accomplishment I’ve ever made in my life it gives me not just joy but a sense of pride and accomplishment.

My favorite lizard is any and all lizards I love them all so much. If I am to favorite reptile it be dragons.
I am jealous of my own pet reptiles, living life with free food, free rent, and being taken care of by some weird giant for all their needs haha. Maybe I'll be reincarnated as a lizard, who knows. I hope I'd get to be in a zoo or be a spoiled pet thats well cared for! 😊

It is difficult to pick a single favorite lizard, isn't it? I'm not even sure which is mine, I like em all too!
Favorite artwork of my character? Definitely the one showing one of the greatest joys of being a dragon. Being able to take to the skies whenever you please.

As for favorite lizard, do dragons count? Otherwise I'd have to say Schneider skinks, I had a pet one when I was growing up

I s'ppose dragons couuuuld count as lizards though it depends if the dragon is okay being called a lizard hehe. Schneider's skinks are sooo cute! Skinks in general are adorable though. I have a halmahera blue tongue skink, and I just love their stubby little legs and long bodies. 💚
Personally I don’t mind being called a lizard. It’s technically accurate. I love skinks though, maybe I’ll keep another one someday
I also don't mind being called a lizard, I think dragons are just big lizards anyhow.
You should keep another! Life is better with lizards :D
