For the entire day, I've been literally GEEKING OUT over this trailer below, playing this on a loop, and getting goosebumps every time I hear Hank Williams' song Alone and Forsaken.

I've been one since the PS2 released and played The Last of Us (TLoU) on the PS3 when it released in 2013, played its REMASTERED version and TLoU Part 2 for for PS4, and now with the release of this HBO MAX TLoU trailer, I'm SERIOUSLY tempted to buy the REMAKE version of TLOU part 1 for the PS5.
So yeah, question for you PlayStation furs, have you bought the REMAKE of TLoU Part 1 for PS5? If yes, your thoughts on it?

I bet if it wasn't because of that Korean steamer's reaction to that character's death going viral we wouldn't have had that reaction to it back in 2020 imo. I get that he was going through a rough time, but it's a bit much to destroy a product you paid good money for over I think. It's also a bit silly to expect TLoU to be a happy story about heroes and villains when it's a dark somber story with the characters being survivors who do what it takes to survive or fulfill their desires (even Joel and Ellie's morality is all sorts of gray). Yeah I get it different strokes different folks of course, but it seemed most complaints people had for it were honestly reaching quite hard.
Sorry for rambling; this is the first time speaking with someone who has experience with TLoU franchise about my feelings; don't mind me x3 Those people seemed to take a work of fiction way too seriously to me is all!
And I recently purchased TLoU Pt. 1 for the PS5 (disc copy) but haven't started it as yet as 1) I'm still playing thru God of War Ragnarok and 2) I kinda wanna wait till TLoU TV series starts so that I can "play along" with it lol, if that makes any sense? š
As an avid fan of the series, Iām looking forward to it.
