Hello everyone, I’m still alive. Sorry you haven’t seen much activity on my FA account, I’m just a lurker at heart, I don’t always feel like I need anyone outside my circle of friend to see what I’m up to art-wise or otherwise. I’m just a reserved person who is happy with one on one conversations and if only one person gets to see doodles I’ve done, it’s enough for me.
A little update on life: Less than a year ago I’ve gotten a job at a local bookstore and dropped my gas station assistant manager gig after 4 years of working there. I left of my own volition because nothing was moving, I was payed the same salary and we wouldn’t hire anyone extra, all the while the work load at slowly tripled since I’ve been hired. The thing that tipped things into the abyss and made me want to quit was the big bosses having trouble with their decade old database that would frequently bug out and so they were entertaining a change of cash register which would slow down things considerably at which speed we would serve customers, and when I was having days of doing 300+ customers per 6 hours, I just felt a wall of helplessness was erected before me. So I found myself something else and quit. After nearly a year, I’m happy to say it’s a much better fit and I comfortable now relatively speaking, the pay is lesser, but the stress is far lesser still. Anyways…
Big News: I’ve recently started dabbling with Picarto out of curiosity, I’ve found out that having a few eyes over my shoulder helps me keep focused on art I’m doing and keeps me away from watching distracting videos on YouTube. Maybe I might play some games on there sometimes, but if your curious about what I’m drawing off the grid, or want to help me stay on task, come follow me at:
