Well witchy worlds are always fun.
Most of the world design is on us the creators.
Though some questions that need answered so far.
Why are witches in the world looked down upon? Are there thus witch hunters? How do they protect themselves from magic?
What is the nature of "magic"and how does it function? How do casters interact with it and how do they cast it. Why separates as caster from someone who cannot cast it?
What makes a potion magical versus just a mundane drink? What is the connection that makes it magical outside of the cliche?
The world does need more Hodags.

Just some food for thought to help your imagination flow.

For now, it's a lot of loose fiction. Most of it might not get a thorough explanation but who knows? One character I have planned brings in some of the world's folklore to life. Pretty excited for them.
