Hey again. Sorry for not posting in a few months. I'm still here, I've just been both busy and trying to figure things out about this account. I'm struggling with art flow and I think it has a lot to do with the current art style I'm using. I think it would be very beneficial for me to switch to a much more simple art style that doesn't take as long to draw with and isn't as daunting.

Right now, shading is a bitch and the backgrounds can be sometimes too. I feel like it would benefit me heavily to switch to a shading-free style (except when I need to show depth) and most of the time doing solid-color backgrounds, or at least much more simple ones. It would greatly help with the intimidation I feel when thinking about drawing a new pic here.

Also, I think I need to be more comfortable with sharing just sketches and messier drawings instead of feeling like I need to make full and complete pics of every idea I have for this account.



So, I'm asking you guys — my watchers and frequent visitors — a couple questions:

1) Would you be okay with a less detailed, less put-together art style?

2) Would you be okay with me sometimes posting sketches and leaving them as sketches (except if asked to make one into a full pic by popular demand)?

I'm really trying to be more active and post more but I feel like these issues are preventing me from having the drive to create art for this account.
