Coffee With The Princess!
What's Up With The Fake Studios?!
**Giggles!**
Good morning again, y'all! With change in the weather, I'm feeling that bouncy feeling that I used to get back in the day when I was still reasonably new to the Internet. It would be about 1998 where I would join Tapestries as my first muck and then would move on to all of the anime inspired ones. During that time, I was able to do and post a lot of my own artwork, especially since I had more time and energy back then than I do these days. Also, almost thirty years younger too ... and all of my toes. ❤️
Most of y'all who have been following me on either Deviant Art or FurAffinity, the only two websites that I stay current on any more, inflation is my passion along with awesome artwork too. To keep it simple, check out some of my galleries around 2007-2010 and you will see a lot more of my own work than commissioned work. Enjoy! ❤️
Now, what kills me is I have been getting these studios like one Deviant Art user who noted me sometime after I posted Taffy The Impossible Girl comic pages that I did for fun. Some of it was that a lot of people who watch me and then show up on The List (f-list.net) don't know a lot about my characters, so I thought this would be a good thing to post ... and it's fun for me, making me feel a bit creative these days. Personally I'm more of a writer these days than an artist, but I'm perhaps one of the least productive artists out there these days and I keep on getting these Fake Studios sending me notes about joining their website or team or whatever it is. And like the rest, the recent one got banned from my page. But what killed me is ... this user had been here for 15 years and there was NOTHING on his page. Now, I'm slow, but St. Mary on a pogo stick! ❤️
I'm reasonably sure that most of these people are just trying to steal people's information since the notes are all about the same format and with the same style of grammar. What makes me laugh, as it should with the rest of y'all, is they never read the author's notes, something that I feel confident in saying that 90% of the people who surf the pages on both sites don't do ... and I'm guilty of doing that sometimes too. But, if they did, they would see that usually at least in the title I put the artist's who did the work for me name in the title and damned well in the author's notes. A good clue in this is the speed that I can get favorites too. I watched about four people favorite the stuff within the first minute of posting, so I have to wonder if they even bothered to even read or enjoy the page. Especially with me reusing posted images that were done. ❤️
I'm sorry, y'all, but this tickles me ...
BE Happy!
Love and Kisses,
Loonia

I have to admit that I wasn't originally since it was at the height of the NFT things that plagued Deviant Art especially and is one of the main reasons that I often ban users who have NOTHING on their pages, especially on DA. But, for those who get mad when I make these comments, I'm going to be Mom to you:
"You want it to stop, do something about it. Put something on your page."
