Lyle, Lyle Crocodile
This movie felt special to me. It's kind of a big secret that I adore crocodiles, slinky predators with powerful bites and laid back attitudes. Smiling and cruising through waters :D
I didn't expect to watch this film so soon but here I am, fresh out of the popcorn scented spot that is the local movie theater. What did I think?
Well, it's easier to write about how I felt. I was overjoyed meeting Lyle, a sweetheart of a croc with a heart far wider than his own body. Instead of an ominous portrayal as a movie villain, this crocodile impressed with a mighty singing voice and a beat to each step (and tail!) Truly a surprise to see, as with every human reaction in his movie xD
I will wrap up saying that each of his newfound relationships reminded me of personal memories. Ones which uplifted and others that hurt to recall. A swirl of emotions much like those of Lyle, timid at a crowd's anticipation. The movie is one that seemed to reassure its audience, that we're not alone facing off against our daily fears. How we are social beings, that we too can support each other, as Lyle, to believe in our unique, individual strengths. Our dreams. A brave deed that may end up healing a whole lot, as the first rays of a morning sun.
May everyone be doing well. I am glad to share more of myself, hoping that a little encouragement can go a long way for others, strangers or not. Bless <3
