Money is what I need to move out unfortunately, but of course my family demands it from me which kinda makes it hard for me to move out in the first place( a vicious cycle) X_X;

My life has been about stats unfortunately bro, I hadn't been too close with friends to care about other things besides stats, except my mom and well even then I get let down. You do make me feel better about myself though <3

the problem with this cycle, is tat you can stop it but it will have temporary repercussions with your relations
but if you do nothing to stop it, it continues... for them, borrowing money from you and never paying you back has become a lifestyle. they rely on it to continue tat way, so they will not stop. only you can stop it.
the initiative is yours, they will not help you
i dont mean to say they dont care about you, but they wont just decide to stop taking your money
it has become a lifestyle for them, they wont change it, you must do it
your little bro continues what he does because he knos you are there
the only other working member continues what she does because your there
they wont change unless you create a situation where they have to

Tough call, but I will think about this, it's hard to let go of my family when they need me the most though..

well, the thing is, they dont, as far as relying on you for their survival
you are a convenience to them...
put yourself in their thinking... if you had a free ride thru life, would you try to leave it?
now step back and take a look at this situation - you *are* the free ride, and i dont think their gonna try to help you out by trying to stand on their own feet when you are carrying them
they could, but they dont want to.

I feel like I'm the one they count on survival, my dad's social security barely covers the rent and my mom 's work doesn't cover all the other necessities such as food, bills and utilities because she works as a housekeeper sporadically over the month. True, my brother could cover if he were actually GOOD at his job but he can't even sell ONE vaccuum right now and is only pulling a $200/paycheck with the hours he puts in. I'm kinda there as the safety net also because my mom doesn't have health insurance and no savings otherwise. For now I'm stuck with them until I can save enough money on a down payment for a house.

That is the other part of the problem though, housing in my neighborhood is $300,000 a minimum in a shanty place with high crime and violence, truthfully I need a place valued $500,000. Saving for a down payment on that now, it would still take me 5 or more years to save up for one. My only other option is rent, but even that is like $1,500 a month for something decent, and this is practically a mortgage size payment itself only I'm throwing the money down the drain. I need to marry or move in with someone who has a house until I can pull everything together.

well the thing is, the able-bodied members of your home are not trying to find better jobs... they have stopped where they are because they are comfortable with you paying their way, and they are not attempting to become independent of you
i'm not saying you shouldn't care about them, but i still think what they do to you is wrong

As for the question, it's not just cameras- In general I just don't trust technology; I intentionally use dial not only because I shouldn't need lots of speed and it's slightly cheaper, but also because it's only connected while I'm actively surfing the 'net. I don't trust that a firewall would always protect me, I don't trust that a digital camera will just put my pictures on the computer in a way that I'll understand how to use them, and I wouldn't trust a painter program not to lock up or lose the things I've drawn on it. In conclusion, I still consider myself part of the BBS generation, and my generation didn't know all that much about file types or other upcoming technology.

Finally about my responses, I think very differently, not just compared to everyone else, but even compared to other thinking that I've done before and will do after- I could think like most people when reading a comment or I could think like a professor, or a simplistic moody person who just wants to say whatever I'm felling at the time. I'm odd like that ^.^;

what confuses me about your responses, is how you can create a long interesting response and create subject matter from a minimal comment, but there could be times when i may post something with plenty of subject tat could be touched on, but your response would be very short, almost seemingly as something a disinterested person would say, keeping things to bare minimum...
i am kinda suprised when tat happens, since you are usually so full of interesting things to say ^^;

Hm, I imagine with a lot of those short worded ones I believe that's as much as there really is to be said. It's not me being uninterested but rather findind that I don't have anything noteworthy to add. Like anybody, I sometimes just run out of ideas ^o^;
