As for commissions... I couldn't make the same tier on Boosty as it was on Patreon, the site simply doesn't allow me to limit the number of subscriptions, so info about opening slots will appear there as a regular open post and be duplicated here after a while, if the queue still remains free.

It spins for a while, and gives up and shows a small graphic of a broken credit card and:
"Oh, something went wrong
The payment failed due to a technical error. It happens, just try again now, or after a couple of minutes. If the error persists, please write to our support, and we will help."
The buttons at the bottom are 'Close' and 'Try Again'
I found a post with similar problems and there they advise to try several times and, if everything still fails, then write in support with the author's url so that they check for themselves. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the page is completely new and the foreign payment looks suspicious.
- Pick a subscription level and select PayPal.
- Click on the drop-down where your email address is.
- Click "Pay with new e-wallet"
- Go through the PayPal payment process. It's ok to use the same details as your existing configuration.
I don't know *why* this works... The messages from the Boosty API only provide more questions instead of answers... but it works, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
