It has been ages, I know.

But life changes have been insane. Just over a year ago, my "partner" of 20 years and I divorced. I simply could not take they hate, the anger, the screaming and the fighting. I know what it is like to sleep next to someone that holds you in disgust, anger and loathing- and yet at the same time does love you.

ONE SENTENCE of advice for all those contemplating marriage: You cannot love a person that's damaged back to health- no matter how large your love for them is.

Her "coping mechanism" was to do unto others before they did unto her. Everything was anger, competition, spite, distrust and yet more anger. She constantly took money we agreed to budget for other things and spent it on whatever she felt was right- ignoring the budgeted purpose.

So I could not see us lasting another 30 to 60 years together. I was stressed beyond belief. My health is far better, normal even. No more meds, I am healthy and for the first time in ages, I have a real libido.

But this time off was not wasted! I have MANY pieces of art from an artist I worked with as I could and she has the entire first "Book of Nomark" illustrated.

I have been writing too! Just need to proof read and fix grammar, etc. Also, if some of you would like to get paid to read the story and help me make sure what I wrote is what I said, please do contact me via notes!
