End of the Year
As you can probably tell by looking at the dates on my last few submissions, keeping up has been tricky. My day job is as a supervisor in an industry that gets especially busy this time of year: my last "work week" was ten straight days, and I only got to take a three day weekend instead of one day off because I was getting vaccinated (sidenote, booster sickness sucks, but you should get it if you can).
The upside is that work gets incredibly quiet around the beginning of the year, and a life change should mean I have more time to write in general, at least for a few months. I'll likely go quiet until January, potentially barring status updates on future projects.
Right now, I'm looking at retooling the concepts from "Bromeo" and "Can't Catch a Tiger" into a roughly-30K word novella (~90 pages). Short stories are fun, but I want to flex some other muscles.
