Recent Twitter situation and my new Mastodon account

Heyo guys!
Mainly due to Elon bought Twitter last week and there are signs of Twitter going downhill or dies in speed run already. It made uncertain for Twitter's future. Thanks to reports of almost 4,000 employees fired in most of job sectors including some IT (Why? It's critical to keep site up and running without broke into oblivion). There are other reports after meeting that Twitter is likely planning to be put behind paywall entirely instead of paying $8 for verification. (That would result of mass exodus if that ever happened. Most people aren't pay for it to Elon; they hated him obviously).
In result of that. I have made new Mastodon account recently this week just in case of Twitter implodes. Here's my Mastodon account:

Can one really keep employees if the business is losing 4 million a day? Not really, least they were given 90 days of severance pay, when the law only gives 60 days. They are also not technically fired as they are still on the payroll, but are considered "non-working", till February.
I have to laugh cause now they are on the receiving end of "if you don't like it, go build your own."
Ahhhh, right. I wasn't clear about employees fired they mentioned on medias last week. It's all mixed up.
Well, tell that to Mastodon that is gaining so popular now as I heard there is over a million registration rn. Other websites is also gaining momentum too like Cohost, Pillowfort, etc but not as big as Mastodon currently. :p
Most of the info that was floating was disinformation, they were hiding some of the facts behind it. One of those that had posted the actual memo that spelled out what was happening, but I take anything with a grain of salt. All sides tend to lie to make themselves look like the victim and the other side as the villain. I even looked up how California's WARN Act worked, but it seems to cover for factory and industrial sectors and not the private sectors.
Least this is healthy for social media too, nothing wrong with some extra competition.
