So... yeah my dad is in hospital's ER and then ICU since last Tuesday due to appendix ruptured with major infections all over it. Good thing we convinced him enough to go to ER after his month of unwell feeling, struggles, and then worsens last week.

Fast forward to today, my dad is currently in ICU recovering, good vitals so far, and on oxygen (slowly decreasing the use while maintaining above o2 level). He's in good hands to doctors and nurses. He will have a surgery to remove his appendix. He won't be home until couple days later or weeks until when it's safe enough to discharge him. He will need lots of rest at home with help from my mom and I.

For donation part (it's optional and if you still wanted to donate then go for it if you wish to). We are not in financial issues but my mom and I have to take off from work for this week and likely next week. To be here and take care each others for my dad. It's more important than work in this health emergency situation. My mom and I work as an substitute EA (not teacher) for school board. Due to substitute job itself, it doesn't covers paid leave. Meaning we missed out work and paycheck worth of 2 weeks and it happened to be the final two weeks before summer vacation starts. We won't be back to work until after labor day September. We will be using employment insurance (EI) starting early July for 5 months.
