Losing Interest - Help!

So I'm in the midst of my thesis; it's a small gallery of sorts, the details aren't important. Basically, I'm a frustratingly fickle bastard and I've lost pretty much all interest in the topic I chose. I could feel the distaste building up as I worked on developing it within the studio but brushed it off as being burnt out. Took a break, came back to it, nope. I just lost all connection to it. Switching topics is out of the question as well, unfortunately. Devoting the last year of college towards something I feel nothing for instills way too much dread in me. I've reached out to classmates and professors, but I need other perspectives. This is what my college education is supposed to be accumulating to. How do I rekindle that passion?!

Long ago I was told by someone I respected that a the mark of a true professional is the ability to do their best work even when they don’t feel like it. Sometimes you just have to dig deep, hold your nose, and dive in.
At some point in the most interesting projects comes a time where You loose all the juicy feelings towards it and You have to finish it up on empty. It's one of the hard parts, but it's pretty normal and in professional projects it's kind of expected and taken into account. I agree with what velantian wrote above.
