Once upon a time...
Today would have been Charles Schulz's 100th birthday. I think we have much to remember him for, especially his Peanut's comic strip.
Despite all his success in comics, Lee yearned to write 'The Great American Novel', and yet it was Schulz who actually succeeded, in both his life and his work.
Certainly there's something incredibly poignant and novelistic about the fact that Schulz died literally just hours before his final Peanuts was published. When his life ended, so did his art.
