Valentine's Day is generally considered a day of lovers--that is, those who are in romantic relationships. But there also are non-romantic loves too: between family members and between friends.

It can be hard for me to say "I love you" to my friends, because it's easy for it to get seen as romantic rather than platonic. But I do love my friends. I love them very much. And I hope that by writing this, they will all know it.

*It may seem odd that, given all I write, I make this a featured journal. But for all the anger and frustration I sometimes feel, I want the journal people will see to be one of love. Because I truly believe that people can be better and will be better. And, more importantly, I want people to have a message of hope and love.
