Looks like my cider got infected T_T

I woke up to find white splotches inside the carboy on the surface of the cider as it was racking. Indicating bacterial colonies. I was really looking forward to trying this stuff but I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
was your aim to have it mature by chance?
do forgive me though, Cider is not in my repertoire, my works tend to be on the lines of Korean Cheongju and wines. (and Gruit beers)
