So now that I've got all of my tests over and done with for my recent health condition discovery of IIH (which included a spinal tap, that was an awful experience), I don't have a whole lot left that'll eat up my energy now. I hope. I don't want to jinx it. lol. it's been a hectic fucking month...
I hate that it interfered with Dinovember and sincerely apologize for that but I really had to take care of myself this past month. It was a lot on my mental health, but I'm staying really strong and doing well.
Anyways! With that being said and now that I'm more prepared to start doing more art for real this time, I'm getting geared up for December art. I wanted to let you all know that as fun of a challenge as it was to do daily art for my calendars... I think it's time to lay them to rest.
It was a big recipe for burnout, and I really want to avoid that going forward so this art thing is more sustainable and healthy for me. I put more effort into refining my art than I did back when I started the calendar slot format, and it's just too much to keep up with. I'm sorry, I know a lot of people look forward to it every year. But I am still definitely going to have themed months, so don't worry about that! I love doing themed months, it keeps things interesting and fun!
So here's what I'm thinking is going to work the best! Let me know what you think.
I want to stream twice a week at the minimum, maybe more, and do 1-3 pieces a day for special holiday/winter themed streams! I want to keep it flexible.
I am thinking a raffle will work best to fill slots so winners don't have to watch their stream if they're unable to.
I'll get everybody to comment on a promo submission, assign numbers, and draw numbers to fill slots.
I will draw numbers the day before I am going to stream to give the winners time to send their payment via an invoice. I'm thinking 3 numbers will be drawn for a stream, though if I don't get to do all 3 (especially in the case of a piece being a two character piece), the one I don't get to will carry over to the next stream.
Maybe can have a small 10% discount from picking from a list of themes so it's more on theme for the month? And once a theme is completed, the discount will be used up for that theme? That sounds fun eh? :D

Because yes, regardless of your health, that is a big undertaking that wouldn't be sustainable forever.
Although yes...admitting I am kinda sad because I was trying to plan for it XD
Now, asking my Legendary questions every time you change it up :P
--Would the keywords on the 10% list be reusable? So like if there is a keyword someone likes, but it is already taken by somebody else, would the person have to chose a new keyword?
--Would these be wing-it styles, or would Client-direction be acceptable? Perhaps a lil of both?
--Still Bronze-tier Flats with Backgrounds correct? :P
--Since this is no longer a Calendar style thing.....would it effect Patreon Supporters at all? Such as their discounts? Early access Im sure does not count for his new style.
--What about the Discounts listed on your site, do those apply at all? Do they mix with other discounts, or is the Event discount completely separate?
--Same thing with your +30% Fee for NSFW. Will that apply at all in these Events?
--For your Selection process, curious...I know you are gonna flesh it out (Heck you mentioned that at the end XD) but do we get to pick our order? Basically what stream or when during the month we'd like the image? Similar to how you did in the Calendar events. Or are we randomly assigned numbers and stream times?
--Is it snowing in your area yet?

For instance I didn't even think about how it'd affect my Patrons, I'm so glad you thought of that.
I'm thinking to remedy that, one Patron slot will be guaranteed for each stream which would be done first, and the other 2 raffled to non patrons, I think that would work well and would give them a worthwhile priority.
- The discount for a theme wouldn't be reusable, once it's used if someone else wanted the same kind of theme they wouldn't get the discount. I think it would incentivize people to want to get them done for their piece before they're used!
- They can be artistic freedom or not, the price would be the same! And yes, in my flat color Bronze tier style as always~ The artistic freedom 15% off only applies to my regular slots, and not these kinds of special slots.
- Yes, the 30% nsfw fee applies to these, it applies to any commission I take now regardless of if it's a special event or not.
So if someone wanted to use a theme, and wanted an NSFW piece, they'd only have to pay an extra 20% :)
- No, everyone unfortunately won't be able to choose. I plan on drawing the 2 raffled numbers the day before the stream and sending out invoices the day before I plan to stream, so it'd be random each week. I'll be making a list of my interested Patrons in the order of their comments and will be doing those in order through the month!
- We had one snowy day so far!! I hope it snows more next month... I like a snowy December but we never get it lol always dumps snow in March of all damn months.

Quick Followup on the Selection Process. See, that was an asking point because somebody like me might wanna try to aim for a slot later in the month where id be more financially secure to waste/support my money for a Commission. If the Raffle style could potentially pick me early before I can pay atm, would that just be skipped, or would it be lost, or could be paid for later?... kinda see where Im going?
But looking at how you want to do the system, it does sound kind of tricky.
And LOL. Over here it loves to THREATEN to snow, and sometimes it does but it doesn't stick.
Then Its a Coin flip if it snows and sticks in January or February.
And when it does decide to stick, it gets BAD!
lol that sounds pretty manageable... I do not like shovelling the snow from our walkway in the dead of winter XwX
