Comic Commissions i hired that failed me

So i have these stories of mine that i need to hire people to draw for me to turn them into comics. Not many people can do this skill let alone the stories i have in mind since here on FA how the fuck do you search for people to hire? There is no classified ad's, lord knows that would HELP so FUCKING MUCH! FA, create a classified ad's on here!
Anyways, i found an artist named AnonyArtist, nice person, i hired them to do a lot of art over the past 7 years, put in over $1000, and i wanted a comic from them back Oct 30th 2016. Paid & waited. Then on Mar 25th, 2018, they told me, "sorry, i haven't started it, i cannot, but i am keeping your money though, thanks, bye." You've taken my money, already spent it, then no wip's, no progress, then when i ask for a refund, you tell me nope? COOL! (being sarcastic) They did mange to refund my money back even though they said "No on the money - But I'd still like to do your art".
So i stopped using them until 2020. On May 9th i commission them again for another comic then September 8th, two sticker emotions packs. Again, they pulled the same thing on me, come May 2022, i've only received one wip for the comic on my telegram, they claim they sent more "says it was sent on my phone" yet on my telegram it showed nothing, i screen shot and showed them, nothing, so i asked for them to send it to discord but they claim they stopped using it yet they have been using it for years.
Then out of the blue, they up and say "here is your refund, have a good day, i am killing my self, bye"
You know, If you're going to take my money, waste years, take other commissions, do them, but not mine, then refuse to refund me after 6 months, after one year, then 2 years, do not take my money or my commission!
If nothing is made, done, or work on with in 3-6 months, return the person money.
Then back in Feb 26th of 2015, i commission this person named SyCoSkunk to do it was 4 pencil/color special for $20. I sent them my two sonas, a red and yellow vixen which i own. I even have them on a web site called imvu.com.
5 people paid into this special commission deal, however over 6 months, nothing was showed for it yet there other 4 people had there work done in less then 3 months?
copywrited furs on IMVU, I had to take time to find EACH one, and talk to the owners/creators if you were given permission to use their fur as a fursona. All of them had told me they hadn't, and a few were pretty livid about it, but I didn't release your information to them. I assured them I would make you new furs.
Yeah, however they belong to me, i paid for them, i own them, i even had the fursuit created, i am the ONE AND ONLY person in real life that owns it! There was ONLY 2 creators that have made my imvu furs, i told both of them and both were fine with it. Make it sound like there is more then 2 creators? Maybe if you had told them it was ME, they would of been okay with it?
Now get this:
"Alrighty i sent the refund <3 since i realized they were your characters i had edited the ones i had done so they can be your characters to the T. I also have had more experience with drawing young furs so i completetly redid the baby foxes <3 they are coming out cutier than before. I will be sending all the sketches by tommorrow. I had activated my old photobucket if you want me to send them there. If not i can email them."
They refund back my $20, redid the art work, and was going to send me the art even though they had refunded my money, okay, following me so far? This is July 23rd 2015 almost 6 months later, even though they have refunded my money back, they stated they would DO the commissions non the less to make me happy and get it done.
Then Augest 31st, they write "Hey i just wanted you to know I had a major computer meltdown. My roommates managed to get their other one working after reimaging it. Also i had gone to the doctors recently about my wrist. My wrist turns out had a carpel out of place digging into my muscle and had started to swell.
In light of that i am now recovering and will be sending things soon. I am so sorry for all the delay."
-From the above ^: I had your commissions all sketched by the time I had asked, so I went ahead and started making ref sheets of the altered characters in order for thee to not be copywrite infringement. Free of charge.
-I am finishing the ref sheets, which are front and back views, and had finished your commissions for them. I had assumed you were not aware of the strictness of copywrite laws and decided to make you similar characters. Infringing a copywrite is punishable up to 35,000 dollars per infringement in my state. So I wanted to avoid that.
So again, I am sorry there were complications you did not foresee. I will pay you back for the trouble it has seemed to cause.
They did tell me, that all the sketches were done and colored, but i never saw them nor was given any wip's.
So after a full year, after the refund, after the fact they would finish the commissions, nothing, I gave them my email, i gave them my skype, nothing. Find out they only draw angel dragons and one of there friends told me "They refunded your money, so they deleted, trashed, and stopped work on your commission, you got your money, so they had no used to do them over again. Why they lied to you saying they had finish them, ready to send to you, i have no clue but after that refund, you get nothing. Sorry."
Well, that pissed me the fuck off! So i had to hire someone else to do the commissions, and this person who i hired, finish them in a week time! No question, no copyright, no problems, Simple. Copyright, to think, gives the owner the rights over copies, but if i make money off of them, then yes. Like the FBI warning on VHS tapes. You just own the rights over the copies if your making money off of what is being sold. You see me going out there selling my life as a biohaz? No? I am not making money.

Let take music for exlampe, if i created a song, i (C) it so if anyone sings it, they will owe me money for it cause i am the owner and it belongs to me. They are singing it, in public, to people that have paid to see them sing. Same as painted art, you copy my art, painted it, and now selling it. And on and on.
I mean, you think you're high and mighty? You should get a trademark done instead, so people cannot use you as that belongs to you as a company.

And lastly i commission this person biteybaby back in June and Augest this year 2022 for a comic and piece of art. 6 months later, i only get 1 wip of a sketch of the comic and nothing for the art. Yes, they did mange to get covid, get sick, lose there jobs, have there car stolen, hell, they have it rough, i understood. Thenearly this month of nov same year, they message me asking for a compromise? They were unable to finish the comic and art piece. I got pissed, like, 6 months and you give up? I have told them i would like a refund and that i will never commission them again, even though i have commission them since 2019 and put a lot of money into them since then, they have lovely work but if you're unable to do the commission, do not take it or take my money.
Comes down to it, people take my money for hire then in the end do nothing then have the balls to keep my money. Claim to have it made and never show me the proof. Or get angry at me for asking them why its been over 6 months to years and nothing has been done?
