I've managed to keep myself around this ball of water and earth for another year. I've likely reached the halfway point of my lifespan, but there's a possibility of being around for a long while considering how far modern medicine has gotten these days. That being said, looking back at my life, I find myself melancholy or uncertain from time to time. It's probably from my moments in my life where things haven't gone as I'd thought they would (such as my failures in trying to get a degree in criminal forensics or pharmaceuticals). Perhaps my failures were meant to tell me that life itself won't go according to plan and will throw you off track. Sometimes straight into a ditch or a wall.

And considering how things are going around the world as of late, it's looking like there might not be much point for plans and just hope you don't get dragged down underwater.
